Stötefighter – this aggressive logo sticks on the racing helmet.
Motorsport is passion, motorsport is euphoria, motorsport is a
battle: It is a challenge determined in split seconds, a contest
concerning the optimal lap or the struggle with ultra-modern
racing technology. It is a passion that lasts for two decades: first
of all in karting, then at automobile slalom events. At the age of 20
as an A-levels student a childhood dream came true: Green light
for rallysport was given. An important milestone was reached.
In a highly competitive international brand trophy series the season 2016 became really special: Top rankings were celebrated by a new co-driver, a rearranged team of mechanics and experienced members of Team OPEL Buschmann.
The success in figures: two podium places, five top-5-rankings and the
fourth position in the overall standing were greeted enthusiastically. The
self-imposed targets were reached: Team OPEL Buschmann marketed by
the driver himself was the best German rally team in ADAC Opel Rallye Cup.
The additional efforts paid off: In 2017 Team OPEL Buschmann was ready for the R2-category. Up to the season’s halfway point the crew was the clear leader in the specific division of German Rally Championship. The essential target was close at hand. A highspeed crash ends this dream and gives more space to accomplish new goals. Motorsport is passion, motorsport is euphoria, motorsport is a battle – in sum: A key component of my life between racing tyres and driving technique.
